October 2020 Color Combo Blog Hop

Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to the October 2020 Color Combo Blog Hop!

I am so glad you stopped by today to join me and a fabulous group of International Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. You are currently visiting Nicole Mahler from the U.S. Our color combination for this month is Mossy Meadow, Bermuda Bay, and Smoky Slate. I decided to use a sneak peek of the upcoming Curvy Celebrations Bundle of products. The inspiration for this card cam from Jasmin von Werner over on Demonstrator Planning Place. I do hope you enjoy it!

I started with an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Smokey Slate card base. I stamped the ivy image from the Quite Curvy stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink onto Mossy Meadow and Whisper White cardstock. Using My water painter and Mossy Meadow ink, I colored in the ivy on the Whisper White cardstock. Then I fussy cut out both ivy images.

I watercolored the little birds the same way, but used Bermuda Bay ink. I die cut the birds using the Curvy Dies. I finished off my card with a sentiment stamped in Bermuda Bay, and layered it onto a strip of Bermuda Bay cardstock. Lastly I sprinkled on some of the Artistry Blooms Sequins.
