Gold and Green Christmas

Good morning everyone! I am getting ready to order my supply of Sale-A_Bration and Mini Catalogs for the upcoming season. If you are interested in receiving a goodie bag from me with the NEW catalogs, please click HERE to fill out a short survey.

I am back today with another project using the Perfectly Plaid bundle from the holiday catalog. Last I checked, there are limited quantities of this bundle, so if you want to get your hands on it, do it fast! Today’s card is one I CASE’d from Patricia Dominicci over at jumpingintostamping.com. Her card was a bit more elaborate then mine with embossing and other elements whereas mine is a little simpler. Let’s jump into the details!

For this project, I started with a Thick Whisper White base measuring 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. I added a layer of Gold Foil measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″. Then I added a Whisper White layer measuring 5″ x 3 3/4″. Before adhering this layer to the card, I stamped my sentiment in Shaded Spruce, and attached a piece of Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8″ Striped Ribbon to the Whisper White layer.

Here is just a little close up view of that greeting.

Using the Pine Tree Punch, which I think is my absolute favorite, I Punched out a Tree from Gold Foil and from a piece of the Wrapped In Plaid DSP. Then I stamped a tree image onto Whisper White using Shaded Spruce ink, and punched that out. I used my Snail to attach the Gold and stamped trees. I attached the DSP tree using dimensionals.

I took another piece of the ribbon and made a bow. I attached this using glue dots.

I really hope you enjoyed my post today and that you will leave me a comment or sign up for my newsletter while you are here today. As always, if you live in the United States and do not already have a demonstrator, I would be grateful to become yours! Starting next week, I will have a few sneak peeks of the upcoming Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalog that go live on January 3rd.

Colour Combo Blog Hop December 2019

Welcome to the December 2019 Colour Combo Blog Hop.This month’s color combination is Petal Pink, Early Espresso, and Merry Merlot!

You have just arrived from Caroline Peck’s blog. You are currently visiting Nicole with Sugar & Scraps. I am in the United States. Thank you for dropping by. I do hope you enjoy my project.

For this month’s project, I created a card that is also a gift card holder!!

There is a little bit of Wrapped In Plaid DSP and some Rhinestones. My sentiment and the Pine Tree are stamped in Merry Merlot and put on the Stitched Nested Dies.

The rhinestones look really nice under the sentiment I think.

Once again, thank you for visiting my blog today & I hope that you have found inspiration to create your own project. Please click on the Next button to hop along with the rest of us. Don’t forget when visiting to leave them a little love.

Merry Little Pinecones

Hello to you all my crafty friends! Today I have a little card for you that I CASE’d from Su Mohr, amd one she shared online. I want to apologize in advance for the bad lighting.

I used a 4 1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White card base. I die cut some of the stitched nested labels from Whisper white and stamped on those. My pinecones are Early Espresso and my sentiment is Cherry Cobbler.

I added some alternating rhinestones in a line under my sentiment.

You can sort of see here, and in the picture below that I added some of the crystal effects to the pinecones as well.

I think they came out really cute.

I really hope you enjoy the card I had for you today!

Mini Hand Sanitizer Holder and Matching Card

Good afternoon my crafty friends! I have 2 projects to share with you today. I demonstrated both of them in my Facebook Live last night. I think they both turned out beautifully, and you could really cater the hand sanitizer holder to any occasion.

I’ll start with the instructions for my hand sanitizer holder. This is by no means an original design by me, there are numerous videos out there. For mine, I started with a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock measuring 2″ x 11″. Score this piece, on the 11″ side, at 1/2″, 1 1/2″ 3 1/2″, 4 1/2″, 6 1/2″, 7 1/2″, and 8 1/2″. Fold and score on all the lines except the 6 1/2″ line. This line is just a guide. Using the Stitched Shapes dies, take the smallest oval and cut out between the 1/2″ and 1 1/2″ lines. This creates a

Using Early Espresso ink and a scrap of Whisper White, stamp and die cut the largest pumpkin. Using Terracotta Tile ink and a scrap of Terracotta Tile cardstock, stamp and die cut the largest maple leaf. You are then going to use scraps of Terracotta Tile and Gold Foil to cut some more leaves out with your dies.

Attach all your die cut pieces to the inside and outside. My sentiment is stamped on a piece pf Crumb Cake cardstock that is about 3/4″ wide. I stamped in Early Espresso. Now let’s move onto the card.

Start with a piece of Terracotta Tile cardstock measuring 11″ x 4 1/4″. Use your Terracotta ink and the large maple leaf stamp to stamp leaves all over the card base. On a scrap of Terracotta, stamp the large maple leaf in VersaMark ink and cover with Copper Embossing Powder. Using your heat gun, set the powder.

Using Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile, and Gold Foil, die cut out some leaves. Stamp a pumpkin in Early Espresso and die cut. The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Crumb Cake that measures 3/4″ wide. It is stamped in Early Espresso as well.

Cut a piece of Soft Suede cardstock that measures 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and wrap a piece of the COme To Gather ribbon around before adhering to your card base. Using dimensionals, layer all of your elements onto your card front. Finish off the card by tying another piece of ribbon in a knot to the piece of the card base. Just in case anything is unclear, here is the video I did last night during my Facebook Live.

I am so thankful that you stopped by today and wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoyed my projects and that you will leave me a comment with your thoughts. Until next time…

Wishing You Well Maple Leaf

Good morning my crafty friends! I hope you all have fabulous things planned for the Thanksgiving Holiday tomorrow. This is my most favorite time of year! I am looking forward to a day with my family tomorrow and just having some time to reflect on things. I want to wish you all the happiest Thanksgiving! May your day be filled with family, good food, and great memories! Today I have a super simple, cute project for you today. It of course uses my featured product of the week…the Come To Gather Bundle

I adore this bundle, and wish I would have spent more time using it before now. There really are so many possibilities for using this set.

I started out with an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Crumb Cake card base. I embossed a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Crumb Cake with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and attached it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped a Maple Leaf in Early Espresso and die cut it, and attached with Dimensionals. I finished off the card by tying 2 pieces of Linen Thread into a bow and adhering it to the bottom of the leaf and attaching a Crumb Cake sentiment stamped in Early Espresso.

I could have colored in the leaf or maybe added a few small ones in different colors, but I like the muted look of this card. I really hope you enjoyed my project today and would love for you to leave a comment.

Season of Thanks Card

Hello to you all my crafty friends! I have an adorable, thankful card to share with you today. Starting with an 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ Mint Macron Card Base, I stamped the maple leaf from the Gather Together stamp set in Mint Macron.

I stamped some leaves in Mint Macron on the card base and added an Early Espresso and Come To Gather DSP layer.

I added some die cut leaves, a stitched shape oval, and some linen thread.

This card was inspired by a swap card I got…I CASE’d it because I thought it was so pretty. I do not remember who made it though.
