Gold and Green Christmas

Good morning everyone! I am getting ready to order my supply of Sale-A_Bration and Mini Catalogs for the upcoming season. If you are interested in receiving a goodie bag from me with the NEW catalogs, please click to fill out a short survey.

I am back today with another project using the Perfectly Plaid bundle from the holiday catalog. Last I checked, there are limited quantities of this bundle, so if you want to get your hands on it, do it fast! Today’s card is one I CASE’d from Patricia Dominicci over at jumpingintostamping.com. Her card was a bit more elaborate then mine with embossing and other elements whereas mine is a little simpler. Let’s jump into the details!

For this project, I started with a Thick Whisper White base measuring 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. I added a layer of Gold Foil measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″. Then I added a Whisper White layer measuring 5″ x 3 3/4″. Before adhering this layer to the card, I stamped my sentiment in Shaded Spruce, and attached a piece of Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8″ Striped Ribbon to the Whisper White layer.

Here is just a little close up view of that greeting.

Using the Pine Tree Punch, which I think is my absolute favorite, I Punched out a Tree from Gold Foil and from a piece of the Wrapped In Plaid DSP. Then I stamped a tree image onto Whisper White using Shaded Spruce ink, and punched that out. I used my Snail to attach the Gold and stamped trees. I attached the DSP tree using dimensionals.

I took another piece of the ribbon and made a bow. I attached this using glue dots.

I really hope you enjoyed my post today and that you will leave me a comment or sign up for my newsletter while you are here today. As always, if you live in the United States and do not already have a demonstrator, I would be grateful to become yours! Starting next week, I will have a few sneak peeks of the upcoming Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalog that go live on January 3rd.
