Welcome to the monthly Stamp N’ Blog Hop. This month’s theme is all about saying Hello to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. You have just arrived fromRochelle Laird-Smith‘spost. You are currently visiting Nicole from the U.S. Thank you for dropping by. I do hope you enjoy my project.
I decided to use one of my favorite returning sets, Dandelion Wishes! I really like how easy this stamp set is to use. Enjoy my project below!
I used simple stamping as my basis for this design but added a little twist. I stamped the words and the dandelions in Misty Moonlight and covered them with clear embossing powder and then heat embossed.
It is a little difficult to see in the pictures, but it gave the ink a nice shiny appearance.
I used Balmy Blue and Whisper White card stock. This card is really simple, but I think it turned out nicely, and the same effect could be achieved with just stamps, ink, and paper. No heat embossing required!
Once again, thank you for visiting my blog today & I hope that you have found inspiration to create your own project. Please click on the the Next Arrow to hop along with the rest of us.Don’t forget when visiting to leave them a little love.

Welcome to the June 2020 Technique Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be part of this fun collaboration with fellow demonstrators. This month’s technique is Spotlighting. I can’t wait to show you my project! I love this technique, and it can be done so many ways.
For my card today, I used a Purple Posy card base. I stamped my main image on a 3 1/2″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White card stock. I stamped the image a second time on another piece of Whisper White and colored in the portion I wanted to “spotlight”.
I colored in my image using my watercolor pencils and an aqua painter. For the flowers I used my Purple Posy Stampin’ Write marker.
I stamped my greeting on a little piece of Purple Posy card stock and used my banner punch on the end.
You can see in this picture that I added a little Wink of Stella (my favorite addition to my cards right now). I used the Basic Rhinestones, and colored them with my Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends marker.
For my background, I stamped the 2 flowers from Free as a Bird in Versamark and heat embossed using Clear Embossing Powder. I did this before adhering all my layers.
Thank you for hopping to my site and checking out my project! If you saw something you love, please contact your demonstrator to place your order. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I would love to help you!

Good Morning my friends! I am here today Hopping with a group of fabulous, international stampers for the 3D Paper Trimmer Blog Hop! This month’s theme is Wedding, and I have created a beautiful Frame Card for you.
Using Some bright colors and the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and coordinating dies, I made a pretty wedding card that could be customized for any color or theme! I really hope you enjoy my project!
This card only looks complicated, but it was really simple to create. I have posted a video below, but also have the measurements for you here.
Measurements:
Card Base – Thick Whisper White 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and folded in half.
Frame – Thick Whisper White 6 ½” x 5 ¼”, score on the 6 ½” side at ¼”, ½”, 6”, and 6 ¼”. Turn the cardstock and score on the 5 ¼” side at ¼”, ½”, 4 ¾”, and 5”.
Cardstock Frame – Flirty Flamingo 5 ½” x 4 ¼”, cut out the center leaving a ¼” border all the way around.
There is a shadow in the pictures, and I could not get a good photo of this card, but you can see a little clearer in the video.
In the video, I show you exactly how to put the card together. My colors are Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Shaded Spruce, Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade, Grapefruit Grove, Terracotta Tile, and Soft Seafoam. I added some Gold Foil elements and a custom die cut tag using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.
Again, I really hope you enjoyed my project, and the instructional video. And Thanks for hopping along with us today. Please click on the next button to be taken to the next post.
Welcome to the monthly Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop. This month’s theme is New Catalog Sneak Peek. I decided to use a set that is carrying over, Positive Thoughts. Thank you for dropping by. I do hope you enjoy my project.
This set is carrying over into the NEW catalog and the coordinating dies will be making a return in the annual catalog as well. I had to fussy cut my elements out, because I missed out on getting the dies during their release at Sale-a-Bration. I made three different cards with this set, and am working on more. This set is going to be the feature for my June Card Club by Mail.
Again, I really hope you enjoyed my post for this hop. Please click around below to see all the other projects. Have fun and don’t forget too leave a note of appreciation for the hop participants!
Welcome to the 2020 Kre8tors Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be part of this fun collaboration with fellow demonstrators. This month’s theme is Floral. You have just joined me from Deb Naylor’s post. You are currently visiting Nicole with Sugar and scraps. I can’t wait to show you my project! Being that this hop falls on mother’s day, I decided to do a mother’s day card with the retiring Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and coordinating framelits. I have really loved this stamp set and the coordinating dies. I have been able to create so many different projects with just the dies alone.
This beautiful card was inspired by Pat Tecza over at Ramblin’ Stamper and you can see her card HERE. I used the same color combo . . . Pretty Peacock, Grapefruit Grove, and Terracotta Tile. The center of the small flowers are stamped with Early Espresso ink. I stamped off once.
Looking at my close up, it looks like there is a lot going on here. I used a few repeating elements to create the floral arrangement. I threw in some Gold Foil pieces and some of the Woven Threads Sequins.
You can kind of see in this picture that I added some glimmer to a few of the flower pieces using my Wink of Stella.
Thanks so much for hopping with me today!
If you saw a product you loved, please be sure to contact your demonstrator to place your order.
If you don’t have a demonstrator, I would love to assist you with your order!

Welcome to the May 2020 Colour Combo Blog Hop.This month’s color combination is Calypso Coral, Gorgeous Grape, and Crumb Cake! I am so excited to be part of this fun collaboration of international stampers.
You have just arrived from Gez Carpenter’s blog. You are currently visiting Nicole with Sugar & Scraps. I am in the United States. Thank you for dropping by. I do hope you enjoy my project. This months project was made using the Positive Thoughts stamp set.
For this months card, I used Crumb Cake as the card base. I used Gray Granite ink for the leaf image on the card base. I stamped full strength, and then I stamped the leaves a second time. It actually was quite a simple card to make.
To get the pretty color mix on my sentiment, which is die cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, I first inked my stamp in Calypso Coral. Then I took my Gorgeous Grape ink pad and inked a few spots on the words, using the corner of the ink pad. Yes, I mixed my inks…but I went light to dark, and so it is ok. The butterflies are in Gorgeous Grape and the flowers are Calypso Coral. I had to fussy cut them out.
I finished off my project with a sprinkling of Rhinestones. I added all my pieces using dimensionals. I really hope you enjoyed my project. Click on the next button to hop over to Caroline Peck’s blog. Don’t forget to leave comments for all the talented stampers and their wonderful projects!
Welcome to the monthly Stamp N’ Blog Hop. This month’s theme is all about saying goodbye to our favorite, retiring products. You have just arrived from Jill Chapman’s post. You are currently visiting Nicole from the U.S. Thank you for dropping by. I do hope you enjoy my project.
I decided to use one of my favorite sets, Animal Outing! I am sad to see this one go, but it will go out with a fond farewell.
I used a Pear Pizzazz card base and Shaded Spruce DSP for my layer. I die cut through both layers at the same time in order to get my cut out in the right spot.
I stamped, colored, and die cut the little animals. The rhino and little koala were colored with Smokey Slate Ink and a blender pen. The kangaroo is colored with the Crumb Cake Blends Combo. For the giraffe I used the Daffodil Delight Combo and Dark Crumb Cake.
I attached the rhino and the giraffe between the two layers so that they were not seen on the inside of the card. I attached the kangaroo with dimensionals.
I added a little Wink of Stella to accent a few parts of the animals and finished off the card with some Rhinestones.
Lastly, I used Shaded Spruce to stamp the tree branch image on the inside of the card. My sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.
Once again, thank you for visiting my blog today & that you have found inspiration to create your own project. Please click on the Next Arrow to hop along with the rest of us. Don’t forget when visiting to leave them a little love.”

Hey everyone! Here are the pictures, video, and measurements for yesterdays Online Card Class.
The first cards pictured here are a slightly modified Z-fold cards. I usually don’t leave my top layer this big. Anyways, the measurements are as follows:
Card Base: 11” x 4 ¼”, sore at 2 ¾” & 5 ½”
DSP Layer: 5” x 3 ¾”
Whisper White: 5 ¼” x 4”, plus scraps for stamping and punching
I used the second largest die from the Stitched Nested Labels DIes to get the cutout in the DSP. Then I tied some Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the card, and added some Rhinestones to the front. The Ink Colors on the Yellow card are Mint Macaron and Shaded Spruce. The ink colors on the Purple card are Seaside Spray and Night of Navy. I added a little Wink of Stella to the Hot Air Balloon on the Purple card too.
For the second card, I used a regular card base. The measurements are as follows:
Card Base: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, sore at 4 ¼”
DSP Layer: 5 ¼” x 2 ¼”
Whisper White: 5 ¼” x 4”, plus scraps for stamping and punching and stamping sentiment
Coordinating Cardstock scrap for die cutting
I used the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut the Smokey Slate oval. I added a Mini Library Clip, a Whisper White Twine bow, and some Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
Here is the recording from yesterday’s Online Card Class.

Card making really is THIS simple! Go from basic to pro in minutes with a witty card. I’ve got card design ideas for beginner card makers to the casual creator and on to the avid, fancy card makers. The inspiration for this card came fro. Lisa over at lisasstampstudio. You can see her cards here.
Today’s video is from my FIRST Coffee & Cards class, and it showcases three DIY cards, all using a single image. I consider myself an avid stamper, but there are plenty of times that I’m pressed for time and I need to simplify my handmade cards. But that doesn’t mean we have to skimp on pretty!
I’ve included pictures, cutting dimensions and supplies below. Be sure to scroll down to see them.
Beginner to Avid Card Making Video
The Witty-Cisms stamp set is a 9-piece set featured in the Mini Catalog on page 37 and includes greetings for any occasion – even graduation!
Beginner to Avid Card Making Details
If you’re already a stamper you no doubt are building (or have built) a collection of fun designer papers and embellishments. Oh, and let’s not forget about coloring mediums! From watercolor pencils to alcohol-based Stampin’ Blends markers, the choices are many. Today’s cards are a great representation of how you can use a single, stamp image and take it from quick and easy to stepped up and over the top.
Beginner Stampers – Quick and Easy
Are you brand new to stamping? The note cards and envelopes on page 168 of the annual catalog include 20 pre-cut and pre-scored cards and envelopes. Measuring 3 1/2″ x 5″ these cards are mailable size and require no special postage.
Casual Stampers – Add a Layer
If you’ve been stamping, even for a few months, you’ve probably added designer paper and colored cardstock to your inventory of supplies. Put them to use by adding a layer to your handmade cards. Today’s video walks you through the entire process of making this card.
Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers are effortless and leave flawless results. Watch how easy it easy to create shading and professional results with the tips I share in the video.
Cutting Dimensions
Thick Whisper White cardstock base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
Thick Whisper White cardstock for the image is cut 2 1/2″ x 3″
Regals Designer Paper (Old Olive) is cut 3 3/4″ x 5″
Pineapple Punch cardstock strip is cut 1/4″ x 5″
Pineapple Punch cardstock layer is cut 2 5/8″ x 3 1/8″
Avid Stampers – Make it Fancy
Adding multiple layers creates dramatic results and can be easily achieved using squares or rectangles. Instead of stamping the image in the squares, I opted to color and cut them out and adhered them for added dimension.
Today’s video also teaches you how to use the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to select specific words from a greeting. It’s a useful tip that will have you borrowing greetings from one stamp set to use with another!
