Good morning my crafty friends! I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful 3 day weekend we were blessed with! Happy Labor Day to you all! Welcome to the September 2020 Technique Blog Hop! I’m so excited to share another beautiful project with you and some fellow stampers. This month’s technique is Clear Block Stamping. I can’t wait to show you my project!
Today’s card features the Celebrations Tidings suite of products. I have been having so much fun playing with these items, and I have come up with so many different ways to use them. My colors are Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Poppy Parade.
Clear block stamping is super easy to do. You simply take a clear block, color on it with markers, spritz the block with some water, and press it onto a piece of paper. Watercolor paper usually works the best because it does not suck in the water and you can manipulate your colors a little. You can use any paper however, and I used a piece of Very Vanilla.
My card measurements are as follows:
Soft Suede – 11” x 4 ¼”, scored at 2 ¾” and 5 ½” on the 11 “ side.
Daffodil Delight – 4 ½” x3 ¼”
Very Vanilla – 3 1/8” x 4 3/8”, 4” x 5 ¼”
Plaid Tidings DSP – 1 ¼” x 4”
