Hello crafty friends! I hope you were able to join my online card class last night. If not, no worries. I am sharing the recorded version here. I am also going to include written instructions for the box and notecard set.
To make the adorable box, you are going to start with a piece of card stock that measures 9 1/2″ X 3 1/2″. Score on the long side at 3 3/4″, 4 1/2″, 8 1/4″, and 9″. Turn and score on the short side at 3/4″. Assemble this to be your box.
Take a second piece of card stock measuring 10″ X 3 3/4 “. Score this on the long side at 5 1/4″ and 6”. This is going to be the cover for your box.
This first card uses a piece of Balmy Blue that measures 4 3/4″ X 3 1/4″. I stamped my butterfly halves onto a Stitched Shape Oval and added a banned with my greeting. I topped this off with some pearls.
This card uses a piece of Grapefruit Grove that measures 4 3/4″ X 2 1/2″. I added a piece of Basic Gray that was punched with the Starburst punch, and a 1 3/4″ Circle. I also stamped and punched the Monarch Butterfly.
This card has a piece of Highland Heather measuring 4 3/4″ X 3 1/4″. I stamped my butterfly in Gorgeous Grape and punched it out. I stamped my sentiment on a Stitched Shape Oval.
This card uses a piece of Grapefruit Grove measuring 5″ X 3 1/2″. I cut it on a diagonal to put on the card.
This last card uses a piece of Balmy Blue that measures 4 3/4″ X 3 1/4″ and a piece of Whisper White that measures 4 1/4″ X 2 3/4″.
