Good morning everyone! I am a little late getting these posted, and I did not do a video/Live Class this month as I have been super busy. I will be back on track next month however. I have my alternate projects for the August 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Blissful Blooms. I made 4 alternates contents, 1 piece of Old Olive card stock, 1 piece of Lemon Lime Twist card stock, and a piece of Lace Ribbon.
I really like how these cards turned out. I usually add a few more extra products, but this month I wanted to try and stick with only the kit as much as possible.
For the first card, I cut apart an envelope and used the inside piece as my mat on a Lemon Lime Twist card base. I cut one of the card fronts in half and added the leaves and a tag from the kit.
Here you can see the leaves clearly.
I really like how this one turned out.
For my second card, I cut out just the flower portion of a card front and attached it to the white piece of the card using dimensionals. I sponged the edges of the white card piece with Blackberry Bliss ink before attaching the flowers. I
Aren’t those flowers pretty? I really liked this kit even though I am not big on Floral patterns.
My third card is assembled on a Lemon Lime Twist card base. I fussy cut the butterfly and a few of the flowers from one of the card fronts. I added a piece pf the envelope in the corner, which is bordered with a piece of the silver foil side of the envelope as well.
I put a spiral of twine under my tag here which is attached with dimensionals.
I attached all the flowers with dimensionals as well.
For my final card, I used the other half of the card front from my first card, and attached it to an Old Olive card base. I sponged ink onto a piece of Lace Ribbon and added a piece of foil from the envelope over top. I added a twine bow and attache my tag over the ribbon.
I like how the ribbon looks sponged with the ink. I am very pleased with the way these cards turned out.
