Another Swap Card :)

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic week so far! I am…my countdown is on for my vacation that starts this Friday. I am so excited to see family. I have a wedding to go to as well which will be really fun. Enough about me, and on to the card I have for you today! Surprise, it’s another swap card. This one is for a swap my upline is hosting for her team. I used Mint Macaron (8 1/2″ X 11″) as my card base, a 1″ X 5 1/2″ strip of the Share What You Love DSP, and a few Artisan Pearls. I used my Springtime Stroll Hostess set for the images.

I like how the small amount of flowers really pop on the card background. I got the idea from a set of note cards I saw over at Flower Shoppe Cards. The ones there were made with washi Tape instead of DSP, and mine are regular size cards. I used a birthday sentiment, but you could easily change this to be any kind of card really.

You can sort of see my score lines in the image above. I scored above and below where the DSP is to give it a raised look. I scored my card starting at the 7 5/8″ mark, 7 1/2″, 7 3/8″, 6 1/4″, 6 1/8″, and 6″. I then flipped the card over and scored it at 4 1/4″ so I could fold it in half, and this way the raised side of the score lines is on top.

My inside is blank, as my greeting is on the front, but I did stamp a couple little butterflies. I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink for the greeting and Rich Razzelberry for the butterflies.

I hope you liked this card, and I can’t wait to share more with you!! Feel free to drop a line in the comment section below to say Hi or tell me what you think.

Happy Stamping!
