Hey everyone!! I have had so much fun playing with this months Paper Pumpkin. Every month I am surprised by how great these kits are, and every month I think, “This is my favorite Paper Pumpkin of all!” I got my alternate projects completed and wanted to share them with you. I also posted my video, which is below for you to enjoy!
Remember, Paper Pumpkin comes directly to your mailbox every month and contains all of the items you need to make amazing projects. All you have to add are scissors and a clear block. You can then reuse the stamp set over and over and over again which is why I create these alternate projects for you. That way, when your kit has been used up, you can still make cool stuff.
The really great thing about this months kit is that it coordinates with a product suite in the new catalog, Broadway Bound. So if you used up all your elements and wanted more, you could get some similar things from the catalog. See it here!
This first card here, which I show you how to make in the video uses Vellum, a piece of Lemon Lime Twist card stock, and a small piece of one of the card bases.
This card I made using a piece of Vellum card stock as well. I added a couple balloons and a banner from the kit, and I cut a piece of Lemon Lime Twist the same size as the Lovely Lipstick pieces that come in the kit.
This card is really bright in person. My card base is Pineapple Punch, the layers are Pineapple Punch Designer Series Paper and Whisper White. I stamped the little swirl image from the Swirly Bird stamp set in Pineapple Punch on the card base. I stamped the cake from the Paper Pumpkin kit and the greeting from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set in Smokey Slate. Then I colored in the cake frosting with my Pineapple Punch marker. I added 2 little candles from the kit on top of the cake.
This was a take on a 2-4-6-8 box. I used one of the card bases from the kit and created a little gift box. It measure 2″ square.
